Our Halloween crew!
Thomas was magical Harry Potter. Lauren was a beautiful Pocahontas. Connor was a convincing Fernando Alonso (Formula 1 driver for Ferrari). And Claire and Ronan were stuffed in to two costumes that we dug up at the last minute. I will do better with them next year....maybe, ha!

Me and my baby giraffe. Thomas wore this costume for his first Halloween. Don't ask what my costume is...I think it is something like "exhausted housewife".

This was the first Halloween that Connor really seemed to "get" how things worked. He was the first kid to knock on every door and was so happy every time he received a treat! When he woke up the next day the first thing he said was "are we going trick-or-treating again now?".
We told Lauren she could be anything but a princess this year...she has been a princess for at least the last three years. She got around our rule by choosing to be a Native American princess...at least it is a change from the norm.
And so begins the weeks of begging for candy first thing in the morning.
