Happy Birthday Brian!

The kids insisted that there actually be 33 candles on the cake for Brian.  Thank goodness for the number 8 candle...who has 33 candles on hand???   It was a joint effort to blow them all out!  Happy Birthday Daddy!!

BARNEY, LIVE!

The big purple dinosaur is making a come back! We took Claire and Ronan to Barney's big show in Rio Rancho.  It was fun to have the twins on a special outing with mom and dad.  I think they were a little overwhelmed with the lights and sound but they still talk about it so I think they enjoyed it.

Independence Day 2011

Happy 4th of July!

Thomas and Lauren helped decorate the Corrales Swim Team float for the Corrales 4th of July Parade.   The swim team rode their float armed with super soakers to drench the overheated audience.  Lauren says that she participated in swim team this year partly to become a better swimmer, but "mostly to ride in the parade"! 

 We were ready to fight back with our own super soakers and squirt guns. It was SO HOT...I don't think anyone minded getting wet!

New Cousins 2011

We have two new cousins this year...one on the McCarthy side and one on the Grady side!  The family is growing growing growing and it is no longer only Brian and I contributing to the pool of Grady grandkids!   

Ella McCarthy was born on March 17, 2011 to Mike and Helen McCarthy and big brother Ian

Carson Thornton was born to Tammy (Grady) and Adam Thornton on May 23, 2011
